This kind of thing pisses me off tbh. I mean I understand that benefits need to be there but I think when it comes to single parents allowance it should be used as an aid to help single parents get back on their feet and start working. Not keep popping out more kids in order to get more things handed out

Nobody's saying this doersn't happen, it's just that according to the fail, it happens every day, which it doesn't. Saying this i do feel the benefits system can and has often been exploited by people. The biggest surprise is they reported on a white english girl, they usually pick on the blacks or polish.

The're hardly luxoury items. Bit disappointing for the daily fail, usually the're showing how rich people on benifits are because they can afford to buy a flatscreen TV from Freemans for 99pence a week.

They're a luxury when you need them lol. It really actually sucks. When I was pregnant, the state wouldn't give me help cause I was working (not making enough to pay for $300 Dr. visits), after I had my son they still wouldn't give me help and I was paying out of pocket for his $200 visits, $30 a week in formula, $40+ in diapers, etc. Apparently, though, if you got off the boat yesterday, you can get government help right away. Even if you aren't a citizen. :thumbdown

Well as has been talked about elsewhere, we dont have to worry about medical bills here whether we're working or not. Of course to a lot of Americans eyes, that makes us poor Commie bastards.
