I'm the last person to ask for tips because most of the time I have no idea what I'm doing. I really don't deserve my camera.

As for fireworks, I've shot them only once. It wasn't easy. I needed a faster lens than I had. That would be the first thing although I'm guessing you'll have some fast ones.

Fast lens? :unsure: I shot fireworks with my camera's kit lens. I put it on automatic (no flash) and let it decide what settings to use. I got some decent pics too. Nothing to it. :dunno Don't tell Guyzerr but I didn't use a tripod either. :ninja Here's a couple of them.

Fireworks around here only happen once a year so I wanna make it count. Besides that in typical Canadian fashion I'm sure there will only be a few blasts and it will be over.

I've done a bunch of reading and hopefully I'll get some nice shots but it really depends if I can get a decent spot far enough away. That's going to be the hard part I think.

blood clots suck balls... I know from first hand experience. I never had to have injections. Just my finger pricked.
