Not paranoia. I have had pictures of me and my family photoshopped in not such nice ways. Those type things tend to make one less interested in sharing pictures of yourself and your family.

That's the main reason I don't post personal pictures. Once they are on the net, that's it. Anyone can get ahold of them.
To Skorpy...I didn't see anything anywhere posted to make you feel this way. Unless someone said something to you in a PM or something that none of us know about. :dunno
There are some pictures of me on the internet. Some of those have been photo-shopped. It is called living and learning. There are some people who try to be hurtful and take great pleasure in being that way. I do not know of any of those type people who have been allowed to stay on this board.

Oh yeah, I'm not saying any of those people are on here. But visitor's can view the pictures posted here and plus once you post a pic it can be found on google images or something like that. There are a lot of strange people in this world. I don't know, that's just the way I feel. Maybe I'm weird.

Since this is my very first forum and had no experience whatsover with the online world, I had advised against posting pics of myself. I heard it happens a lot and that's just wrong but I guess whoever has the heart to do such things to others has evil desires/intent which is very sad

This is true. I posted once in the boobs thread and then later decided I didn't want it there. I deleted the original post but people had quoted it so it was still there. I just spoke to a mod and he went and deleted the quoted pics without a hassle

I did that one time too. Post pics and deleted it after a while. However, if someone had already stolen the pic b4 you got the chance to delete, do you still have control over whatever they'll do with it? Juz curious - I am ignorant abt these things :willy_nilly:
It would depend on how you posted it. If they just stole and image location, then the link would get broken. If they copied the actual pick, that would be different. I have not checked how the pics work through vb... some software won't let you lift anything..

You can "right-click" "save-as" in VB just like most places. But even sites that don't allow you to right click, you can steal those pics as well. Just hit "Print Screen" and paste it into paint or any other image software.
Here's the thing, who cares if someone steals your picture and photoshops it? I don't care if someone takes my picture and uses it to make fun of me. Some people are idiots and if they have the time and energy to manipulate my picture then so be it. I won't let people on-line get under my skin, they aren't worth my time or energy. I actually have more fun watching them make a fool of themselves...

post the pic via photobucket and if you delete it from there later on I believe it will also not show up on somebodys quote. It should show a message that the picture was moved or deleted.

I was going to say the same you can easy take pictures always the Print Screen if no other way
i dont care if people take my pictures won't be the first time
in the past some got my pictures as we share on yahoo but anyway that person posted all after in the forum we both talking ..do i care no.. why because i wont even bother to worry happen now can not change it
and anyway i posted too many myself around and some i should not had too in the past but i don't reget anything
it is not the worse thing in the world can happen
