OK.. I don't think Palin is nuts.. but she IS out there somewhere.... I hate Rush, but I have to agree that I am shocked that Thatcher would allow anyone close to her to refer to her as "nuts." I believe her to have more respect that that and I don't believe she would condone such behavior. I can understand turning down the request to meet, but to say she is nuts? She met with Rush.. she may as well meet Palin...

^I would definitely agree if Palin were a legitimate political figure at all, but she's such a pop culture caricature, to call her nuts is the same thing as calling Snooki nuts I think she's beyond deserving respect.

Yes. An aide made the statement. This is more of an embarrassment to Lady Thatcher's staff than a slap to Palin. Lady Thatcher would never let such a thing be uttered. She CERTAINLY would not let it hit print.
