What's the craziest thing you've done for love?

I'm not sure about a bus (didn't think of that but we are international), but the train schedules are horrible (often taking 6-12 hours one way!) and costly. More than the car!

Things could improve, *when* I get a better job I can get a better car, or afford the rental better. It may not always be this sparse for visits, I just hope it doesn't get harder

We were not married at the time but we were engaged. He was always terrible at procrastinating on his college work. He had a huge paper due the next day and couldn't find any books on his topic. After school I went to the library and checked out all the books they had on it and drove the 2.5 hour drive to his university. I stayed just long enough to drop off the books and drive back. Not the longest drive I know, but for being a big academic prude and doing so on a school night when I had my own homework to do, that was huge for me.

As far as what boy has done for me, one day a guy had a barber shop quartet come to my school and into my classroom to serenade me in front of everyone. I was extremely shy at the time. It ended up embarrassing me more than anything.

Yep, been married over 8 years now. To be honest, I wasn't thinking of it as romantically as it sounds. I figured that even if she wasn't, at least I'd get a good holiday out of it.

Took a 13 hour bus trip to see him after lying to my parents about where I was going. Definitely worth the trip, and I have a beautiful little boy, to boot!

Took care of him while he was hospitalized for over a month. On school and exam days, I obtained his school requirements and homework from the professors and helped him complete them in the hospital.

When we didn't have enough money while looking for our first job, i pawned a Rado watch so we can watch a movie and eat out
