Slot

Are some of the first I can think of and don't understand lol

deke is a feint, a shimmy, a way around the opponent - a hockey dyke however is different

point is where the blue line meets the boards in the opponents zone

slot is the area between the face off circles in front of goal

last two best explained looking at birds eyes view of the ice

pretty much, but it is up to the referee to whistle the play as dead

Checking in the offensive zone, with the intention of gaining control of the puck and setting up a scoring opportunity.

not good for after checking.
