Homeowner Forcloses on Bank!

Chalk one up for the good guys. Bank of America attempted to forclose on this couples home. The problem? The homeowners home was paid for and they didn't even have a mortgage. They took BOA to court and won. When BOA refused to pay, the couple, escorted by sheriffs deputies brought a moving truck to the bank to begin repossesing assets!

Sheriff's deputies, movers, and the Nyergers' attorney went to the bank and foreclosed on it. The attorney gave instructions to to remove desks, computers, copiers, filing cabinets and any cash in the teller's drawers.

After about an hour of being locked out of the bank, the bank manager handed the attorney a check for the legal fees.

"As a foreclosure defense attorney this is sweet justice" says Allen.

I read the article on this and if it had been me I would have refused the check the Bank cut in place of and would have asked for Cash Only..

In circumstances like this Banks often refuse checks, when you are past due, so why let them go around the rules.

Honestly I would have truly milked this for all it would have been worth..
