i got 'THAT' phone call

you know,the indian bloke who can barely speak english telling you that your computors running slow and that they have the solution.......well i let him talk for a while and then said i was just going out,if he gave me his number i'll call him back....no way would he give me the number......that scams getting old now

not long ago i used to get calls and was saying something about some problem for the computer
i close the pnone didn't even answer ..anyway another day again that phone... and told that person i dont have a computer he stop talking and said nothing

Never heard of scams over the phone. Maybe the US doesn't allow them. Now the ones through email, those are common

Yep. They have rung me at least 5 times now. I asked for their ABN and they told me that its private and dont have to give it out....HA...that got em...but it didnt stop them ringing:mad

they tell you what to do and you're supposed to type all these codes into your pc....when its all done you have a virus or something that only they can remove.....for cash of course

They do it at work all the time, they ask for the boss i tell them shes busy and i ask for them to leave a message and they say its fine they will call back another time.... damn scamming buggers!
