I lack imagination, Niamh is both my real and username! It's pronounced Nee-av incase anyone was wondering

Despite knowing this already, because I'm only reading your name and never saying it, in my head I read it as Neem :ninja

lol, most people do, it's Irish and there's no V in the Irish language so mh together make a V sound

It makes no sense because I do know logically that you're right, it's Neeve :ninja I just hear it as Neem. I think my brain is refusing to process the H.

I didn't know there was literally no V in the irish language, that's pretty interesting. I like the name Siobhan, I guess an H after another letter is a good indicator of a V sound?

yeah, it's just an mh and a bh that it happens with. There's actually a few other letters missing from the Irish alphabet as well

I thought when I picked my sons name that it was one that was rarely used... turns out.. every second person named their sons Liam around the same time..

lol, well, It's a very common name in Ireland but I wouldn't have thought it was in Canada!
