I found a thread on an aircraft forum thing - suggesting the F22 Raptor had never been- is that the one? They implied it hadn't been before.

Edit: that one being one of the scheduled demos of course.

Edit 2: even if it isn't the F-22, do take pics of it as it's an uber cool plane

Well well Siphy you finally did it even though you went about it the hard way. I left enough clues and if someone would have Googled Abbotsford Airshow it's sitting right there on their home page. It even says it hasn't been there before.

The F-22 Raptor is one of the best warcraft ever to be flown and I need to get me some pics. Even though the rest of the show will be old news to me it could be the one and only time the Yanks bring the F-22 here.

Now I need to decide if I'm going to fess up the dough and if so what amount or if I'm gunna worm my way out of this. :24:

Darn good choice but nope. The P-51D is my all time favorite plane I'll have you know. I took these over the last couple of shows I went to.

I messed up on this one real bad because I forgot to adjust my shutter speed. It was set to high so I stopped the prop when I like to see blur in the blades.

I slipped up badly on this one! I missed your "of the modern variety" clue too otherwise wouldn't have posted the P-51 Mustang. I did see the official site and it said the CF-18 Hornet was being flown by 409 squadron for the first time (which is why I tried guessing that) - then when that was wrong I totally missed the description of the F-22 Raptor - where it clearly mentioned that it was its first appearance in Western Canada :24:

Off I went googling when I missed that

I don't think I deserve any because my googling was inefficient - not like in the Survivor game However, I'll gladly accept pity tokens

Can't wait to see some pics of it though!

When I didn't see a frame there, I followed the other responses, until I reached post #11, and saw this you posted there:

Then, after seeing the frame, I kept reading until posts #27 and #28.. You posted the frame on #30... and I was still as clueless as before... but based on what I'd read so far, I assumed you were talking about one of your photos.. so, I clicked on your signature.. which took me to the four planes framed in blue..

I called my son in law -who has been in the USAF for almost 15 years-, and had him take a look at the thread.. He thought the same thing I did.. that you were referring to your picture of the four fighter jets in the blue background..
He told me those were F-16..
By that time, the last post was #35.. so I guess we both missed the last line in post #36.. :willy_nilly:
