Don't most people normally use a bowling ball for bowling? :unsure:
Awesome. I am going to get a new ball very soon. I've out grown this ball skill wise, and need something new. As a teen I bowled with a conventional grip (fingers all the way in the ball) and I was very good. I bowled several 250+ games. As few months ago I decided to switch to fingertip grip, that has taken some getting used to, but I have the hook and control down. I need a new ball though with a better hook rating and speed rating.

If you are a conventional bowler (fingers all the way in the ball) it will be hard to hook the ball.

Yup! I am a conventional player and i was told by someone b4 that if i dont place my thumb ( is it the thumb? ) all the way in the hole, that it might help me make that hook. Haven't tried it yet. Soon I will......
I don't think that will help, but I am not a pro. :dunno
