Hey, TV Station if you want us viewers to take bad weather seriously then maybe you should stop making a monsoon out of a passing sprinkle. If I reacted to everytime you got excited about the weather I would never leave my bathroom and would have it padded with pillows and a week supply of food in there. It's called becoming de-sensitized to it.

They have been chastizing us viewers ever since the tornadoes about taking the serious weather threat seriously. The weather guys make a dramatic presentation out of even the slightest weather change. It is like the little boy who kept crying "WOLF" after a while you decide,...."La-la-la-la not listening."

Mass hysteria is a great tool for raising ratings. Compare normal ratings against ratings during things like H1N1, Bird Flu, West Nile, etc.
