Like I said in the other thread, I just don't get how the courts seem to handle rape...I almost think we consider it just "rough sex" or something...I don't think there is too much worse on earth than being raped. Punish it as such! Don't let these people out so easily. Arrgh.

I thought child rape meant life imprisonment, guess some of the judges don't get it =/

I don't think so but it should be. I wonder if the fact that the boy was under 18 effected his sentence?

I don't think it is here (in Ireland) but it should be, hopefully we will change our law to that as well.
