You see a couple walking down the street, one is trying to get away from one person, the other grabbing her of her arm.

Would you of called the police?

I might ask the person doing the grabbing what they were doing.

It depends on a lot though. If the girl looked angry then I'd probably leave it alone, if she were crying then I'd be more likely to say something.

It's all about facial expressions and body language for me. I was not put on this planet to intervene in someones relationship problems. If the woman looked scared, and was acting like maybe this guy was trying to legitimately harm her, then yes I would intervene.

I would HAVE;) stopped and yelled if she looked upset, or as if she was being hurt. I actually have done before, but was told to mind my own business by the woman being bashed.:(
Ok darl...if you're happy being pummelled, I'll leave ya to it. (I did ring the cops though)

Tbh, I was tempted to call the cops, but felt she wasn't in any danger, if I thought she was in danger I would of called the cops

I did call out to the lady if she needed me to call the cops

Some couples just seem to be very physical when they're emotional, whether it's bad or good :dunno

Unless she looked scared for her life or the guy was starting to get physically violent I would stay out of it, other people's relationship problems are none of my business.

I have to agree, but I was just a little bit concerned for her. If she was being hit, I would no doubt would of phoned the cops

I would've called it in and tried to observe from a safe distance. I would not intervene unless I thought someone's life was in danger...and I'd have to think REAL hard about that one. If it was a kid...no problem. Adult...I'd have to think about it. Not that their life isn't worth saving...but I love me more. LOL

Domestic disputes can and have turned ugly for those who get or have to get involved.

Not unless I actually saw him hit her. Otherwise it's none of my business and I definitely don't want to get involved.

Not even if you had a gut feeling that it turned violent?

I'm not afraid of a fight if that's what you're asking. I can take care of myself, and even if I can't, I'm not afraid of getting a kicking either. I've been on the receiving end of a few. :)

Not saying if it turned violent towards you, but between the couple
