It's been two weeks now and the physical need seems to be disappearing slow but sure. The habit part is the tough one in some regards but I suppose that makes sense after smoking for so long. I will say that I don't miss it one bit and when I actually stop and think about it there isn't one positive thing I can say about smoking.
Food started tasting different about a week ago, the air smells different and my cloths don't smell anymore. Not that I could tell before but I sure can tell it on others now. :eek My breathing has gotten quite a bit better. No more typical smokers cough or wheezing. :thumbup My car no longer smells like smoke. Instead it smells like a flower factory.
The whacked out dreams caused by the Champix have stopped but I do have some insomnia and I wake up a gazillion times a night. I'm used to getting about 5 hours of sleep a night so it's no big deal. Another month and a half and I'll be done with the drugs. It's a small price to pay.
Mrs. Stinkey, soon to be Mrs. Guyzerr again is giving it her best shot now as well. Today is day two for her. We will beat this thing.
I rewarded myself for my good behavior and bought an Ipod and a new GPS. The cost is a bit more than what I would have spent on smokes for the past two weeks but I figured I was worth it. Go me!
