I think they are just doing this to keep us a bit safer than we would be otherwise. They were trying to keep to his religion beliefs so as to not cause the US more harm. I would rather not see the pics if that meant us even the tiniest safer. They did do a DNA test as well to confirm from what I know of.

And HONESTLY. What is a pic going to prove if it's some other dude that looks exactly like him?? A pic won't do anything if it really is a conspiracy.

I believe he is dead. Now I just hope things go forward from here and hope that nothing bad happens from this.

He was not executed. He was killed in action while engaged in an armed conflict.

That's what happens when you mess with the best of the best (SEAL Team Six).

I have absolutely no doubt that the motherfucker is dead and I'm glad he is but I am against all the " celebrating " that's been going on and I certainly don't need to see any pictures of his body to believe he's dead.

Theres lots of conflicting stories from what I've seen. Does anyone have a reliable link to a "chronological time frame" (for want of better wording) to all this?

Exactly when he was shot, when the DNA tests were done (how soon after) where they were done, how they happened to have the dead sisters DNA handy...how quickly the tests were done...then a burial at sea?

Time frames and some sort of order of exactly how/when and where everything happened. One link please....coz all I have PERSONALLY seen is conflicting reports.

He can only comment on what he's been told so maybe you want to take your issue of non-trust up with your military leaders. That's where it starts.

I guess conspiracy theories over Osama's death were inevitable.

I could care less about seeing a photo because I'm confident he's dead. If it were so easy to whip up a fake Osama killing, then Bush would have done it a long time ago. The government is withholding the picture for the same reason they got rid of Osama's body, so it can't be used as symbol of martyrdom.

Also, Osama was unarmed, but he did resist. We have to understand that the stakes were huge with this mission and the special forces probably weren't going to put up with anything that would let Osama slip through their fingers.

Just because the details of the story change over time, doesn't mean it's a conspiracy. It takes time for information to be gathered and verified to the point where it's clear on what happened. Details change as people get more information and put the pieces together.

What needs to be "corrected" is the state of Journalism in our country. None of the major news organizations bother to find out what, if anything, is true before they report it. The acceptable standard now is "report something - then correct what was wrong." That infuriates me. As much as I'd like to say there is/was incompetence from our Government or military, I'd say the ONLY one looking like fools are the media.

It did a little but its easy to understand why you are not impressed about it, each to their own its all good.

I agree though i hear about it everywhere. No matter where i go people are talking about it its all over the news etc its getting to be a little too much
