I have voted in the advance poll.
I believe that if one doesn't vote, one doesn't have any right to bitch.
Considering the amount of blood that was spilled so we can vote, I consider it both my right and my obligation.

Looks like a Conservative majority with the NDP as official opposition. The Bloc lost so many seats in Quebec that Duceppe has resigned as leader of that party. The Liberals have been left coughing in the dust. I bet they're real glad they called an election now.

I actually agree whole heartedly with that...

I am afraid of what he will do.. I don't care what he has said in the election speeches and after.. It's what he has been saying over the years that has me worried.

Rape pillage and exploit I think it going to happen to our resources all in the name of big bucks.:surrender

Harpers darkages and witch burning has already reached my own town. Woman's rights have been taken away from them. No longer can women who need abortions get one done locally at the brand new hospital that opened just a few weeks ago, because of conservative funding.:thumbdown:madBloody religious nuts.

I am glad that the bloc got kicked to the curb nearly.. but the rest of it all just makes me sad.. and that most of the country is voting like blind sheep. I know that's what they do in this province.

The elected member for this area has been involved in 2 if not more real estate scams and they all voted for him anyway.

It appears this was all a result of the left being split between parties, which always strengthens the usually one chunk right and makes them look most popular, when it is not really the case (I hope). It's frustrating in politics.
