Been watching the hockey games and there has been a ton of ads by Jack Layton

Do you take this guy seriously?

I think the ads we get from Windsor are phony as hell

It looks like photo shopped stuff from a con man

I get he is an uber liberal but do you really buy into his shtick??

Jack Layton is NDP. They're all about social programs and spending. The NDP has never been close to being in power federally and I hope they never will. I think they can be useful on a provincial level but on a federal level, no, I don't take them seriously.

He is being taken seriously in Quebec and may even kick a few Bloc riding in the rear.. As for the rest of the country it's comes down to Tory or Liberal..

From what I am seeing on the news tonight... Layton is gaining in other areas now too.. The polling is showing him with more seats predicted.... :surrenderThey are thinking he might end up second party instead of Liberals....

Nope as far as I can tell.. Jim said that they came out of another party but they haven't ever been Official opposition before.

Layton seems to be taking seats from Bloc, Liberal and Tory (or so the opinion polls report)... Monday night could be very interesting. If he does get more seats than the liberals, bloc and greens.. it will change the whole political landscape... If Harper gets to form a government, Layton will be his social conscience. I have a feeling he will make Harper much more accountable for his actions that Ignatieff ever would.

The only thing Layton is going to do is give us another minority government by taking away votes from the two leading parties. The Canadian people are sick of that crap because nothing gets done. God help us if the NDP ever got into power.

The Media has been extremely bias in these polls and in one of the call I received they tried to have me change my "opinion" about who I was going to vote for.. :eek
