I've never heard of that before but it sounds a bit dodgy if you ask me, I think the only proper way to lose weight is to eat right and exercise.

Yeah, I know but it just sounds all wrong just sprinkling a powder on your food and losing it, it can't be healthy :/

I saw it on tv the other night and looked it up some. I read almost nothing but horrible reviews!

And I really think all it is is something that tastes awful.

With exercise over a period of time while building new muscles and eating properly.:clap:D:thumbup

Those systems that promise 'fast drop of weight' aren't very effective long term... the longer it takes to loose weight, the easier it is for people to keep it off.

If you want a cheaper alternative to that stuff, eat just enough to not be hungry and then dump salt on the rest and make it inedible. Same difference.

Crap...I had a long post typed out and I accidentally hit something and I lost it. :( Pre-packaged food is usually filled w/ all kinds of preservatives and way too much sodium...both things you don't want going into your body when you're trying to get healthier.

I know I say it all the time, but I would recommend the South Beach Diet. I've been doing it for a year and I've lost 94 pounds. I rarely eat fast food anymore (and if I do, I usually get a salad or something grilled instead of fried that I can get on a whole wheat bun) and cook at least every 2 - 3 days (I cook enough that we'll have leftovers for a day or two). With the exception of 1 recipe, all the food has been very tasty and I have never had a single day where I felt like I was starving or couldn't keep on. Added bonus (as if the 94 pounds isn't enough) is that my skin has gotten much smoother and I have way more energy than before. It's all about whole foods and getting away from all those preservatives and frankensteinish ingredients that we consume every day.

On a side note, if you're looking for a quicker fix, ask your doctor if Phentermine would work for you (if you have any kind of heart problems it's pretty much a no-no). That'll help kick start you.
