who cares? Do like I do, post what you want, and if you dont get any replies................ Fuck it.

I havent been here very long, but I do have a couple or 3 members that I do talk to in PM's and emails.

There are some good folks here.

I think part of the reason it takes a while sometimes for people to warm up to you is that a lot of new members don't stick around.

This is what I was thinking. Loads of new people seem to come on, get very enthusiastic, then disappear without a trace.

Obviously it'll take time anywhere you go to be 'accepted', I don't think anyone could walk into a room and instantly be part of the crowd. And like other people have said, you have to remember that you won't agree with everyone, and vice versa :)

I honestly don't care if I fit in. If I come here and none but a few talk to me, that's completely fine with me. I just love getting to know new people. =)

Like the others have said, post well, post sensibly and you'll be treated well. Post like a douche and you'll be treated as such.

Dude, Ive been here for soooo many years and still dont fit in everywhere. Its just a matter of finding those few people you have something in common with and over time those people you thought you had nothing in common with end up being people you talk to the most lol.

:homo: ( of course minus the many years of being here :p )

does it take one to be accepted in here ? Or is up to the number posts or tokens ?

I think I do understand where you're coming from ( pls correct me if I am wrong to get that vibe) Given I've only been here a few months and my very first forum! There are lots of times I feel I dont belong especially if some of our posts as new members/non VIP are ignored/ taken for granted ( as maybe we might feel at that given moment) Or when the thread goes off to conversation among groups of established members and we don't know what they're talking about. But I learned to thread though and not take things too personally. I have learned to make new friends....esp as Keight said even those I never expected I would really be good friends with and have a good rapport with . It's amazing what patience and time will do IF one just hangs around ;)

:homo: Well said! When I first joined I had one agenda. I'd never been a member of a forum before. After reading through some of the threads and actually getting some feedback regarding my initial thread, I decided to stick around. I've had the pleasure of getting to know a lot of great people in my short time here. I've learned not to take everything too personal and that it's ok share different opinions while still building good "internet" friendships :)

You have a pretty good take on what I having been feeling.
I know I'm the new guy and I have to pay my dues but some NOT ALL have been not to friendly.
But that's ok as it is their right to be so.
I'll keep going at it because for the most part I enjoy those I've posted with.
Thanks for the tip. :)
