The Dawn of the Effeminate Male

Dana's thread about shaving pubes had me thinking. There was a time when a man was admired and respected for his masculinity. I like to think that hasn't completely passed, but I do realize it has taken a downward spiral. There are many women out there who like a man being a man, not a boytoy. Luckily, I've found myself such a woman and I wouldn't have it any other way. A man's man like Guyzerr, Sky Blue, Fred, and Bleek to name several, are still appreciated into today's society. They're just becoming rare breeds. I dedicate this thread as a toast to the Man's Man :thumbup:cool. Don't sell out. A real man knows his place and society doesn't dictate it to him.

I like Real Men. I like a man with a beard and chest hair, who plays football and watches formula one, drinks beer and can fix minor car issues.

I'm sure some women, for some reason, find skinny boys in girls jeans attractive but nuh uh, not for me. No eyeliner, no hip that are smaller than mine. If I wanted that, I'd become a lesbian.

There are certain things which man points are awarded for.

Not shaving so you can have a nice manly beard = 500 MP
Getting a wound stapled instead of stitched = 1000 MP

Whereas

Using skin moisturiser = -10,000 MP
Wearing a snood = -25,000 MP

You're less of a man because you keep yourself tidy? Men are not becoming effeminate well, unless their homosexual. The definition of masculinity has just changed with time.

I am so with ya on that. I need someone I know can handle shit. No matter what it is. I think its sexy how my bf taught himself all about motorcycles and he now does his own work. I think its sexy when a man can be polite and courteous but swear up a storm when he cant get something to work right. The reaction you see in them when they are watching their favorite sport. omg *drool* lol

though I def. agree that shaved/trimmed pubes get more bjs lol

I can't fix a car (Maybe if i tried or put forth an effort I could), i don't wear skinny jeans, (I wear slim), nor do i wear makeup, but i love beer. but i hate sports and racing... I'm so fucked.

Oh yes they are!

I know a bunch of (straight) guys who go to tanning salons, or get their brows groomed, or get manis or pedis...

Not that there is anything wrong with doing that, they're just stereotypically woman activities.

Well I don't... I can't stand tanning. I have a hard enough time trying to keep up with getting my nails cut when they get too long. I cant be assed to pay for a pedicure. and don't get me started on eyebrows. I just think it's a gross generalization. But then again, I'm guilty of doing the same thing at times. (Generalizing I mean.)
