Hey now!! Crocheting is a productive way to pass the time!! I can keep myself occupied and produce something worthwhile at the same time!!
My missus does knitting and cross stitching.
I would love to cross-stitch but it's so hard to find any stitching patterns around here.
My mom crotchets... she hates knitting.
Sometimes I think I'd like to be able to knit scarves and stuff, but then I remember I have a such a small amount of patience for tasks that aren't immediately easy to see progress in.
Have you already tried to find anything on the Internet? There's a lot of handicraft stuff around there.

Have you ever tried Herrschner's for patterns? They have some REALLY good stuff.

Have you tried ACMoore or Michaels?.. They both have web sites, but I love going to their stores and loosing myself in there for a few hours..
They have wonderful crosstitch and needlepoint things already printed on canvas.. I always spend more than I should.. and never finish any of the projects
..but it's something I enjoy to do, and who knows.. maybe I will finish all of them one day...

Good for you, Withers, I'm envious of anyone that has good crafting skills - I did some knitting and crocheting years ago, but nothing great and now I don't have that kind of time - any free time I have I'm either reading, on the computer.
