The same thing happened here, well in Fresno anyway. Except the dad wasn't drunk, and it was a 7-year-old and a gang sign. Oh, and they let the dad and the other guy off because the kid's testimony, "wasn't believable". Their claim is that the kid wanted the tattoo, and well... they apparently got away with it.
