I hate to be interrupted.

I will nearly always allow people to finish what they are saying, even if it's stupid. If I have to interrupt I'll always apologise beforehand.

I have even asked may I interrupt you but not cut you off.

Sometimes it's necessary. Especially when they are just talking and talking and won't shut the fuck up. Or worse yet, when they are explaining something to you that you know is incorrect.

I think if someone is just rambling or blowing smoke it is different. I was refering to me being interrupted on a regular basis lately. Seems before I can finish a thought or ask a question the other person wants to cut me off.

Few things piss me more than being cut off in mid sentence.

Exactly.:thumbup

A lot of times those people interrupting are so busy trying to interrupt you they don't listen to what you are saying then ask you what you would have answered if they had waited long enough.

I really despise being interrupted when I'm trying to say something and normally I tell the person to let me finish or just stop. I remember one time I literally had to yell at a 13 year old to let me finish telling him that his mother will understand why he'd be late home from school.

I hate when you're trying to tell a friend something important and they cut you off and start talking about themselves and their problems like it's more important. By the time they're finished, you've already forgotten what you were trying to say. When you tell them you forgot, they say "must not have been that important". YEAH YOU STUPID FUCK. LIKE YOUR BULLSHIT WAS THAT IMPORTANT.

I saw what you did there.:thumbup:D

:)

but seriously - I know I am guilty of listening to someone tell a story and find myself almost interrupting them to add to it, or I'll jump in if someone is trying to explain something and I get it and let's move on - I've done that to my boss:eek. I am trying to stop that and just take the time to let people finish.

I get frustrated when I am telling a story - usually to my sister - and she jumps in because she thinks she knows what I'm going to say next - and she's not even close - but I love her, so I get over it.
