(Prologue)
CASE # 714

Anonymousville, USA. The name of the undisclosed location in which Anons “gather” in order to work on specific CSI cases which basically is undisclosed to the public and some government officials for “special” reasons of course. Our specific CSI cases? The internet. While the government focuses its manpower on the “real” world outside of the mainframe, we shift our focus back onto the internet. The hottest thing circulating the globe these days and still is to be quite honest. Mostly all crimes are committed on the internet these days. Dating sites. MySpace. Facebook. Craigslist. Even something simple like a Yahoo! or an MSN chat can be the start of something sadistic. It is becomes difficult each day for Anons to work on these cases though. The media has deemed Anonymous as a group determined to corrupt the internet as well as innocent lives. I will not deny that some Anons have gone rogue at times, but so do cops in the “real” world. Surely we cannot judge one as the “poster boy” for them or us all. So we continue our work and do our best to ignore the public’s opinion about Anonymous. We continue to catch criminals of all kinds. We do our best to bring them to justice. The government tells the world that no one is above the law. We cannot take the law into our own hands. Someone needs to send the government a memo. The criminals out there are no longer playing by the same rules and have not been for quite a few years. We are deemed vigilantes. We are deemed criminals at times. We are deemed dangerous. One thing is for sure though. We are Anonymous and we get the job done…one way or another.

Sounds good to be quite honest.

It makes it easier to put personas to a user's character in a sense.

(ACT I)
CASE # 714

Location? Bear Mountain, New York. It is the middle of the day and the weather is perfect for most. Seventy Degrees Fahrenheit. Luckily it only needed to be the perfect weather for a certain group of youths. Lucky. I suppose it depends on your perception overall. A brand new bright yellow school bus with a flat nose grill pulls up along the road and stops slowly; letting out a sound you get when carbonated air is quickly released from a nice cold soda…or warm soda. Depending on your taste. It's filled with young teenage girls from Camp Ma-She-Tu. A long, blonde-haired girl exits the bus and looks at someone behind her while the other girls start getting their hiking gear ready. The Head Camp Counselor can be heard giving some other girls further away from the bus instructions on what they should and should not bring. Apparently a hair dryer is not needed. I guess you never know these days.

Blonde-Haired Girl: C’mon and be quiet.

Another girl comes off the bus looking to see if the coast is clear. Her hair is long and curly as well as red. A bit pale compared to her friend who had a nice bronze skin, but was not her true tone. Tanning Spa perhaps. The two girls manage to ditch the rest of the group as well as the counselor without being noticed and head into the woods off trail.

Blonde-Haired Girl: C’mon, Daisy. Quit being such a wimp all of the time.

Meanwhile, the other campers as well as the counselor head out for their hike and the two girls that had left the group are not noticed missing by anyone. Deeper into the woods the girls start to search for another path to meet backup with the other campers after taking a shortcut as well as a short “break” in a sense.

Blonde-Haired Girl: Would you hurry up? This is what I get for taking someone with me to ditch this stupid hiking trip.

Daisy: Oh my God, Monica. You don’t have to be such a bitch. Besides, my parents will kill me if I get in trouble again.

The two girls manage to find a trail that will lead right to the next checkpoint in which they can catch up with the others. Both walk side by side and take their time walking the path. Woods surround them on both sides and nothing can be seen for miles behind them or in front of them either. Just a dirty path and Chestnut Oak Trees. Monica forces her hand into the pockets of her jean shorts and takes out a pack of Marlboro Cigarettes and a book of matches belonging to some local café.

Daisy: Where did you get those?

Monica: From that cute mechanic back in town. (Both girls giggle and lean on one another as well.)

Daisy: My dad would freak if he knew I was hanging around a guy like that. Gah, he treats me like I’m still six years old.

Monica: Not my parents. I might as well be invisible to them. The only time they even pay attention to me is when their fighting about Visitational Rights.

Both girls take a cigarette and put it in their mouth. Daisy tosses her hair to the side as Monica tries to strike a match to light for their cigarettes. I guess the two would have been better off with a lighter. Then again, the two just might have been better off following their group which was still nowhere in sight.

Daisy: Oh my God, Monica. You’re such a dork.

Monica: Shut up. These stupid matches are being gay.

Just then, the book of matches flies out of Monica’s hands as she tries to light one with brute force. Butterfingers. Daisy giggles and Monica gives a sigh of frustration as she brushes her hair back with her right hand. The two go off the path a bit looking for the matches. Pebbles. Rocks. Broken tree branches. Acorns. Not too much in the way of matches though. As the girls begin to venture further into the woods, Monica is startled when she turns the corner of tree and sees a dead body propped up against the tree. Daisy gets a glance of the body as well and both girls take off back to the path screaming. The body is that of a dead girl not that much older than the girls who came across her body.

(ACT II)
CASE # 714

Later in the day, though plenty of sunlight left, a flash of light comes over the victim’s face revealing a Caucasian with dark brown dirty hair. Another flash of light comes over the victim’s torso and arms revealing a plain red with white and black lettering reading, “Stop Shark Finning” and no sufficient birthmarks or tattoos. The last flash is on the tight short cut dirt stained navy blue jeans and dirty red and white Converse shoes. The victim was basically covered from head to toe in dirt if you do not get that by now. A young female CSI agent is seen crouched down taking more photographs of the crime scene in certain areas surrounding the victim and the tree she was up against. A black and silver trimmed Nissan Xterra pulls up a couple a feet away from the crime scene. Both men and women in black and white dress suits can be seen containing the locals from the crime scene while others seem to be questioning the Campers of Ma-She-Tu. These people are governmental law enforcement that work for the Gemini Agency. Their establishment is made up of numerous types of law enforcement. FBI. Detectives. Even your average run of the mill police officers. Though not just anyone can get into the agency. More like the agency finds you and that always means you have something they want. Skills or rarely otherwise. A young man exits the driver’s side of the vehicle dressed in a black suit as well, but a lime green dress shirt underneath with a black tie and shoes to match. He wore a pair of Ferrari Super America Black Sunglasses which kept the details of his eyes a mystery to everyone who happen to glance at him even if for a second. The female CSI agent looked over her shoulder and slowly rose to her feet and turned around to see the guy coming her way.

Female CSI Agent: Hello, sir. Can I help you with something?

Mysterious Guy: My codename is Xeno. I’m the new transfer CSI Anonymous requested about a month ago.

She takes off her right rubber glove and shakes his hand with some reluctancy.

Female CSI Agent: Nice to meet you, Xeno. My codename is Hart. What brings you out to my crime scene? Usually rookies are sent on Lower Profile Cases to be evaluated.

Xeno: Actually from this moment on this is our case and Senior Director Dove sent me here so you could be the one to evaluate my skills first hand.

Hart sighs and tosses her blonde hair back looking at Xeno with disapproval. She knew that she was being "screwed" somehow by the department. Four years. Four years she had busted her ass to get where she was today. Taking on High Profile Cases and doing a damn good job at them too. She knew she didn't deserve this type of treatment as well as insult, but Hart still was professional about it. Kinda.

Hart: Alright, Xeno. Let me update you to what we do here. CSI Anonymous handles Internet Criminal Cases. The kind of cases regular CSI tries to avoid as well as the police for that matter. The men and women in black work solely for certain government officials which keep us away from the media and make arrests when we have something to give them. The only job we have is to process the evidence and find out if it is homicide, suicide, or death by natural causes. There is no room for heroes here so be sure to leave the macho ego at the door when you clock in. We’re Anonymous for a reason. So forget about getting any recognition in the newspaper. Not what we’re about. (She leans in forward looking him in the eyes so to speak.) Any questions?

Xeno: One.

Hart: That is?

Xeno: Do you mind backing up a bit? You’re fogging up my sunglasses.

Xeno walks right by her as she sticks her tongue into the wall of her cheek knowing that this first meeting between the two might lead to trouble later on. Rookies usually are and transfers are even worse. He crouches down in about the same area that Har t was crouched down in taking photographs. He stares at the victim for a second and is frozen briefly, but manages to shake it off without anyone noticing. Hart puts on a fresh pair of rubber gloves and softly smacks a new pair on Xeno’s right shoulder signaling him to be sure not to make any rookie mistakes by contaminating evidence. He just ignores the signal and takes the gloves off of his shoulders placing them on his hands. Both CSI Agents begin to look over the body carefully.

Xeno: So what makes this Anonymous business? Don't we only deal with internet crimes?

Hart: That’s what we’re here to find out.

Hart: Besides, I was called in to handle this case. I don’t ask questions. Questions lead to a short career in Anonymous.

She made sure to emphasize on the word “I” so her new rookie partner could get the message more or less.

Xeno: Without questions there are just meaningless answers.

Hart: Yeah, well, be sure to share that with the other people on the unemployment line when you find yourself canned.

Xeno casually shifted the subject back onto the victim. Just the type of guy he was overall. Never wanted a confrontation unless it was with a suspect. He didn't seem to believed in taking things too personal either and had this "inner peace" presence about him in the way he walked, talked, and acted at times. Though one could tell that he was hiding so much more beneath the surface. I suppose that is why the department requested him over all other rookies in the field of CSIs. He was the very definition of the word, "Anonymous".

Xeno: Well, I suppose we have a Jane Doe on our hands. Doesn’t look like a runaway though. Fairly new clothes she’s wearing. No signs of a backpack or any personal items either.

Hart: How do you figure she’s a Jane Doe?

Xeno: Serial Killers rarely want the victim to be identified off the bat. They want to make the CSI department work for their answers in a sense. That’s part of the game to them. So…was anything found on the body?

Hart: I waited for the coroner to finish up his work and then checked for a wallet or some form of identification. Nothing. Not a scrap of paper on her to even tell us where she was or where she was going. Could be a Hit and Run. Maybe a dump job after the accident.

Xeno: I doubt it. She’s too far from the path to have tossed by a car nevertheless dumped here by someone who hit her on the road. The main road is about fifty miles from here. Would be easier to dump her in the woods near the roads rather than to take her up here in the mountains. Spur of the moment actions force one to use their surroundings. Planned actions give the person a number of ways in dealing with a dead body. The only similarity is that time is of the essence either way.

Hart notices bug bites on the victim’s arms, legs, and face. As she scanned with her eyes towards the girl’s legs and shoes she manages to notice a small red wrapper blending in between the tongue of the victim’s shoe and the laces. She grabs a pair of tweezers out of her kit that is nearby and collects the wrapper, holding it up to her own face. She slightly sniffs the wrapper as it was giving off a faint odor.

Hart: Looks like she was being eaten alive out here and this wrapper smells like it was drained in beer. Must’ve been one hell of a party she was at last night. That or she was on her way back to the Campgrounds from a party. Too bad it was her last. Poor thing.

Xeno notices a purplish skin discoloration on the victim's hips when slightly turning her over to see if he could find any signs that could clue him in to her cause of death.

Xeno: She hasn’t been her that long. Check her hips out for me, Hart. Something is a bit off about her being here.

Hart: Giving orders now, are we?

She checks the victim’s hips and feels the purplish skin tissue which is extremely soft as well as cold and notices a double layering ring on the outside of the skin.

Hart: Double Livor Mortis. Her blood settled twice at both ends of the hip. She was moved and placed here. Could be signs of premeditation.

Xeno: Wasn’t moved that far either judging by lividity on her hips as well as the back of her thighs.

He looks under the victim's right thigh to verify his claim and slowly sets her leg back down. His face seems to be emotionless, but his disgust could be sensed as he slightly clenches his teeth with his mouth closed.

Xeno: I wonder what killed her though.

Hart: We’ll learn more once the autopsy is complete. Nice eye, Xeno. You just might make it here in CSI Anonymous. So, we know this was a dump job, but it wasn’t from a Hit and Run. Odds are that she or someone she was with had been drinking heavily. And this is not the original crime scene either. She was moved and from what you said…not far from here either. I guess we just need to look for the original crime scene, right?

Xeno slides his sunglasses upward and lets them rest on top of his head, brushing his black hair back a bit and revealed his blue eyes as well. He went into his left pocket and pulled out a small bottle of Luminol and softly sprays the trunk of the tree above the victim’s head.

Xeno: Can I borrow your Black Light Wand for a moment?

Hart digs into her kit and pulls out a Black Light Wand in which she softly flips once while handing it to her new partner. Xeno takes off his jacket and blocks the light from hitting the spot where he sprayed on the tree truck. He then turns on the Black Light Wand and slowly goes over the spot. Numerous words can be seen. She reads them as he scans over them one by one.

Hart: This. Makes. My. Seventh. Victim. Stop. Me.

Xeno: We’re not just in search of the original crime scene. We’re in search of a serial killer too.
