What kind of shoes do you wear?

I started to wonder what kinds of shoes most people wear, and for how long. As i am now looking for a new pair of shoes i RARELY get shoes. 1. i am poor. 2. hard to find some in my size. 3. its got to feel just right. 4. i really DO care what it looks like. Those are really big factors behind why i never go shoe shopping. i have wide flat and big feet and picky about it. my problem right now is that fact i have use my pair of shoes for 6 years now it has holes and all. "Cutting grass season" is starting and i need shoes for it. i have two pair one pair for work, the other used for dress shoes. here is where it gets easy. either i find some shoes that i dislike the look of but will serve as good working shoes, or find a new pair of dress shoes and trade in my old 6 year work ones for my dress shoes to be work ones. Anyways back to the question. i really am curious as to what kinds of shoes do you all like and why. Thank you for taking interest.

I'm mainly wearing some canvas trainers from ASDA that cost me 8 quid. Look like Converse too so you've got cheap and look good.:thumbup
Wish I'd gone to Sports Direct first, mind, theve got Lee Coopers for 12 quid.:thumbup
 
Walking shoes mostly. Around the house I wear flip-flops a lot. I rarely wear those out except in the "Hell heat of Summer in Alabama." I have two pair of dress shoes I wear one brown & one black. I have boots & non-sneaker type but unless it is wet or cold I mostly wear walkers. I have two pair of slip-ons that are comfortable I wore a lot this winter one of those is waterproof.
 
i go barefoot as much as i can. flipflops are a must, i have one pair of ballet flats that i wear when its raining and i cant wear flipflops and dont want to put socks and shoes on. i have one good pair of running shoes (asics) and about 5 pairs of heels that hardly ever get worn cause i dont go anywhere! and 2 pair of high heel boots that zip up and come up to the knee....black and brown pair
 
I wear flip flops too. Tennis shoes a lot (still think trainer's funny name, but then I don't play tennis ;) ) I have a lot of low heels some fancy sandals a few medium heels. I wear socks or slippers a lot at home. I don't pay much for shoes, but then, I don't pay much for any article of clothing ;)

:homo: I am so much like you ( highlighted parts) I can't go barefoot for some odd reason at home. I still avail of designer shoes but buy them when on sale or at TJMaxx/ Marshalls/DSW/Nordstrom Rack :p
 
Astria those are lovely! I love heels. I try not to buy them anymore because I just can't justify owning so many!

This picture is about two years old now and was taken in my room at my parents house lol, I love these shoes but they're really only for special occasions! The last time I wore them was my friend's hen night last year :)
