It comes in waves.

Work that is.
My job is getting more hectic daily and I need to clone myself just to keep up.:willy_nilly:
I took a day off sick on Wednesday and the phone would not quit ringing all day.
When I finally started taking and returning calls, I came to the realization that my one day off meant three more days of catchup work.

Anybody else getting slaughtered out there or am I the only one?:surrender

Shoot me now.:(

It comes in waves......

Yeah, like the freaking oak leaves that are the bane of my existence when I work in garden. Spend hours hosing said leaves into piles and loading them into a bag only to have more fall within a couple of hours.... An exercise in insanity:24:

Funny... New green foliage abounds on all the trees in the parking lot. Where are these old leaves coming from? It's a conspiracy I tell you.

Yes, I have to hose & sweep them. I can't blow em as they are all wet cuz the deck gets watered along w/all the plants overnight. All for minimum wage :24: But hey, I'm just happy I have a job. Lots of folks here don't.

Yo! Husband, perhaps we should both quit and go back to subbing like the olde days? ;)

You know I would work you to death. :p
You would be dead in a week and me the next week.

I'm getting slammed too.

Funny thing is, my helper had 39 hours for the week at days end today so he has to take off tomorrow to avoid overtime and I (the salary guy) get to drive 2 hours away by myself and work all day tomorrow. Not the end of the world but I have a pretty big project to wrap up.

YES! We are about 3 weeks from standardized testing time. We are using these last few days to help the kids practice, practice, practice. Everybody is completely stressed out. If our district doesn't pass the test this year there is a big possibility the state will take over. And if our school doesn't pass, then there is the possibility that we will be "fresh started" which means that we are all displaced. Only 10% of us would be rehired to the same school. The other 90% must find jobs at other schools.

Talk about stress...

I hope your job lets up soon PS. :(
