Death Threats

hahaha well this man came into work and he was blatantly a hobo. So were not allowed to serve them cos we dont want them all coming into the pub. Now by law we dont need to give a reason for not serving some one.. If we refuse thats just tuff titties.

So as i couldnt think of a diplomatic way of telling this man that i wasnt going to serve him due to him being a dirty smelly hobo and a drunk. (though he didnt seem drunk he did smell of booze) i told him i wasnt going to serve him. When he asked why i said i think youve had enough and that he should leave. which he did. only to return 2 mins later and ask me to to speak to him in private. I said no you can speak to me at the bar.
"no come out side and speak to me you two faced bitch"
No if you have anythign to say to me you say it at the bar and speaking to me like that is only confirming my resons for not serving you.
He then went on to tell me that i had messed with the wrong person and that he "knows people" That i had better watch my back when i leave work cos hes gonna slit my throat. Me and the rest of the staff. i smiled and said.

well, have a nice day.

Make sure you leave work with an escort. It's probably a drunken blurb of words but you never know. In my previous line of work I had to get the cops involved many times over the course of 21 years. Twice I was told by the cops it was a good thing as the individuals were " well known " to them and would have probably carried out the threat. One time a private investigator called me out of the blue telling me some guy wanted to hire them to find my residence address. Lucky for me I knew the pi.

but they get kicked out of all the pubs in the area. So it snot like they dont expect it. The pub i work in is not in a rough area really and its not that cheap. they dont normally come in that often cos they can go to the corner shop and get a bottle of whitelightining for a few quid. You get the odd one come in to chance it. Most of the time i think they come in just to get pissy when you ask them to leave.

it might sound harsh i know they're people and they have rights. But what about the poor customers that are coming in for a meal and this man comes in smelling like booze and piss, shouting and swearing and trying to scrounge money and fags off them

yea i was about to tell him that id call the police but he left calling me every name under the sun. Andy was meeting me after work anyways which wa slucky cos he was my last customer and i was just about to finish lol

I spent 6 months in a bar and we kept having this one guy who would come in, order one drink, and then fall asleep in a chair. We always had to try and wake him at closing time, and he smelt awful too.

Dont worry, he's a tramp, he couldn't afford a hitman. He reminds me of that twat in the pub at the station last time I came to your city. He was already pissed at 11 in the morning, first he tried to pick a fight on a homeless guy in the pub selling Big Issues, then he picked on a weedy guy outside who turned round and kicked the shit out of him. Might have been the same guy!

Refusing him because he looks dirty? Hmmm. The threats are not cool at all. Stay safe.
Dana he also stunk and smelled of booze. If you were a business owner you wouldn't want him in your establishment.... then again maybe you would :D............

............. providing of course that he had his own dough.
