do soup runs keep people on the street ?

i have heard ridiculous,
but this is pure stupidity,
my temperature is going up,
i feel the humidity.
people are on the street,
for 1 or 2 reasons,
its not the cup of soup,
or the brutality of all 4 seasons.
they don't like the indoors,
or life and them ejected,
but what ever the reason,
hunger can be corrected.
have some compassion,
desperate and in need and on our street,
whats a cup of soup,
or is your heart more sour then sweet.
the end word goes to the giver,
i personally want to thank,
because looking after less fortunate people,
you are richer then any bank.

It seems a little silly but I understand
why you chose to present to us the question at hand
Its a shame that those who wonder have never been in the shoes
of a person with no roof over their head to lose
We sometimes take for granted, the choices we have
And the very thought of life without them makes us very sad
