The Princess Bride absolutely should not have a sequel or prequel IMO, and I've never seen Blade Runner.

It's more like an action film. I saw it for the first time recently, vampires are all over the place, this one guy hunts them down, turns out he's some special kind of day-walking vamp, one unruly vampire decides to try and summon a vampire god, shit gets real. The end.

It's okay, there are some interesting twists. And I'm surprised they never made any more of them, it's got sequel material written all over it.

The movie you just described is Blade, not Blade Runner. Blade Runner is an older movie and has nothing to do with vampires. :)

And they DID make more Blade movies. There are three in total. Blade, Blade II and Blade: Trinity. :thumbup

They should never have made sequals to Rocky. It would be considered a brilliant, classic, iconic film if it wasn't lumped in with the poorer, cheesy sequals.

It is still considered a brilliant, classic, iconic film despite the sequels.

There are some movie sequels that are better than the origional. I like T2 better than Terminator I. And the first Star Trek Movie stunk, they got better after. I also liked Aliens better than Alien, although Alien was good too.

What I hate is remakes of songs. They are NEVER better than the original and putting in a rap beat or something just doesn't cut it.

Agree about Aliens, could probably put in Godfather 2 there as well.

Remakes of songs - Jimi Hendrix - All along the watchtower?, Thin Lizzy - Whiskey in the Jar, Johnny Cash - Hurt? I would say all three of those are better than the original.

Johnny CASH. YUK, I had to listen to him and other country dudes when I lived with dad. NO THANK U.

I can't judge country songs and I'm not a big 60s music fan so if u say so.....

I think it depends what you hear first. People who grew up with a song and then hear it remade already have good memories of the first one, but if you hear the remake and then hear the original later, you're more likely to favour the version that fits your generation.

Like when I hear original versions of popular remixes, they sound too slow for me :p
