huge online paedo ring smashed

I hope the Scout leaders and teachers and others we trust our children with get a particularly harsh sentence. I know the member who were in the police will be loved by all prisioners.......

Maybe they should tape their prison encounters and give the $ proceeds to the victims...... but then I think evil that way....
 
I do admire the police force and whomever involved for having uncovered that pedophile ring. Kudos to them :D:thumbup

However, what I question is that given that there are only 184 out of the 670 suspects arrested and 121 out of 230 kids abused who are under protection now- why is the Intelligence information being exposed in public?

Shouldn't all these be undercover info for now till maybe at least they've gotten about 90% + of those suspects and protected those kids?

I know we should all be informed of news etc- but why destroy and expose an inside info which may now lead other victim's lives in danger and suspects flee or hide so as not to be caught? :unsure: :thumbdown

I'm not sure it matters. If they've already started arresting and convicting people, the rest of them will have found out about it, there's no reason to keep it out of the news once the operation has exposed enough of them.

I feel a bit sorry for the people who had to go undercover as sex offenders to get the information though. What a really shit day at the office that must be, role-playing someone who likes to touch children.

Yeah, they must have seen and heard some horrific stuff. I don't know how they managed to keep their cool and play along.

I used to work in a State Hospital- the first Rehab Center/Detention Ctr for Pedophiles and Paraphilias. BBC newscasters actually came about 2 years ago to feature the hospital in UK news. According to them- bcoz Pedophilia is becoming pandemic that the progress of that Hospital is followed closely so others can mirror the regimen they use for these guys :p

Yup, they do after they've served their sentence. It was a project of Arnold Schwarzenegger that many Californians didn't approve of. However, it helped decrease the amount of Pedophiles released in the community ( there's thousands of them to be released all over US -who wants to be neighbors with them? )

The regimen is with 4 phases though and the 3rd phase is the hardest for them to pass ( hence the pedophiles protest ) :ninja

Look at the 7th pic. It looks like a mall inside. they even have thier own gym/basketball court , library. restaurant/grill and their dayhalls have all flat screen TVs :(
