Yes, Alien Allen..... I know it's not that hard to make a point. You did a fine job.

....... but the new rulez is the new rulez. I came in and sort of kind of made a point of my own. To diffuse the situation. I do believe it helped.

..... and I didn't have to point out anyone's particular behavior or anything. You see.... I would like to believe that ALL of us can understand subtle hints as adults can and should.

Besides that it's my fucking thread and I don't appreciate critiques from someone that doesn't back shit up.

Um.... he threatened to quit posting well before you commented. I also told him outright we were done once he quit posting which apparently he couldn't stop. I wanted to get a message across to him and believe I did even though it took longer than expected.

I've never been one to call a spade a spade. I've always called it a fucking shovel. Now if he pops his head in here again I'll speak my mind as I've done since he started with his uninvited critiques to which he was advised long ago were unappreciated or unwelcome. It should be apparent that a few of us are tired of his snide and condescending comments and considering he picked my thread to do it again all bets are off. All one has to do is follow the bouncing ball. Speaking of snide comments. As I pointed out to him I saw his snide comment in another thread. I didn't respond there out of respect for Ian but in my thread I will say to him what's on my mind.

Francis was talking about Tuffy but it could appear that he was talking about me. It looks that way because he broke the quote that Tuffy made by leaving out a " [ " in the beginning and some other stuff at the end. I was talking about Francis talking about Tuffy. At least I think that's what I thought when I was thinking and typing my reply to Francis. Clear now?

i think there should be no problem with critique if its done correctly. you never go "its all shit" you state what you like, what makes the image good then state what could make the image better. IE when i said i liked your 1st shot but id crop some of the solid cloud out. Id hope that doesnt cause offence and it is constructive. if you cover the top of the image with you hand it goes from a strong image to a really strong image.

Pink it wasn't so much about the critique. It was more about who did it and why I'm so opposed to him doing it. I suppose you missed a bunch of it and that's ok. Don't go back to read it because it simply isn't worth it. Keep doing what you're doing and all is well.

The difference between you and him is that you have been helpful to others on the site. But.... I don't think anyone should critique anyone unless it was asked for. Kind of a mixed message I know but that's my take on it.
