Okay noticed something new today.

I've only been to Timmy's once. I ate one of their sammiches. Not bad waaay too much honey mustard. I need to go back when i get down to my goal weigt for a cheat day as Cold Stone Creamy is in the same store.

one of our dunkin Donut's trued to put in a Baskin Robbins but it failed before I could try it. This was a few years ago now. It was there literally only a few months. This was originally a DQ & Giffords town.

Slowly but surly Canadians will rule. :clap

" In 1995, Tim Hortons merged with Wendy's International, Inc., giving new focus and impetus to the expansion of the Tim Hortons concept in the United States. Tim Hortons locations can presently be found in Michigan, Maine, Connecticut, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York, with responsible expansion continuing in these core markets. The Canadian operation is 95% franchise owned and operated, and plans in the U.S. call for the same key strategy to be implemented as expansion progresses. Currently, there are more than 3,000 restaurants across Canada, and over 600 locations in the United States. "

Juz curious......Timmy's had only conquered 10 States out of 50 States since 1995 and mostly are in the East and some Midwest. What happened?? :willy_nilly:

Given you've tasted Timmies- how is food and other items comparable ( eliminate for the meantime dieting in this Qn, okay? :p) to some other US food chains selling the same stuffs they serve? Thanks ;)

Oh....which US food chain can you compare it with selling/serving same food/drink items ?? Is it comparable to Panera or others ??

South of Ohio they are rare.

I miss going to Timmies every morning, the closest one is 40 minutes away:willy_nilly:

The Tim Horton's I went to was in Niagara Falls, so I believe they're more concentrated in the midwest area.

Oh, and, I do like how Tim Horton's has managed to serve decent lunch items, something Dunkin' Donuts hasn't succeeded with yet in my opinion.

I'd rather have subway over a Timmy's sub...

I like Subway but they're not as good as Panera and Corner Bakery.....so I guess when Timmie's conquer the West is when I can compare their products with these 2 ? I like Panera's Turkey Artichoke

They set up a corner tent around here in the summer every so often and sell their over sweetened crap that way. :24:

hey that's the one I was thinking about with the tent. Just goes to show what I know about donuts.

Krispy Creme is not as sweet as Dunkin' Donuts tho'. They sell far better quality and freshly baked-hot off the oven type of donuts. They're awesome :D:thumbup
