Well I *was* going to take a bubble bath

HottyToddyChick

Toes in the water...

But while I letting the water run to heat up (and because our drain sucks) I noticed this nasty yellow/brown tinge to the water.

It doesn't happen with the shower hose, not that I've ever noticed. Seems to be just the bath faucet. I am SO grossed out right now.

The bath runs just long enough for me to pull the thing to switch it to shower. I think Matt heats up through the shower too, not the faucet. None of the other faucets do it. I would have noticed it in the Brita, for sure.

Not my tub, but about how it looks. I put some in a big Mason jar so I could see if it would settle. Funnily enough, it doesn't happen when I crank it up to all the way hot. Just when it's in the middle.

I'm not sure I could get the maintenance guys out right now. Surely it isn't considered an emergency?

just like the other day with the dog, they didn't seem to want to answer the phone then either

No... not an emergency. But I'd still call it in.

Well it is after hours right now. So I'd have to call, leave a voicemail. They'd page someone. Maintenance would listen to the V mail, call me... I've only done it when the washing machine floods and my carpet gets soaked.

You could put vinegar in a bowl, and submerge the faucet in it for like 5 - 10 mins. Let the water run afterwards

May just do the job

I'll have to try that.

Tomorrow, for sure, if it doesn't clear up on it's own.

I feel like I ought to be letting it run right now.
