Damn there's a cute blonde that works @ JCP. No idea how old she is but she doesn't look to be over her mid 30s... Of course I'm a bad judge of age. I know her name's Laura. Of course if I ask for her digits and she says shes in a relationship. i'll feel like a tool. Though I overheard her saying she was lookin for something to do tonight so she sounds single.

Is she new to the place you work? If so, it would be natural to go over, introduce yourself and start talking to her you might be able to tell something by the way she reacts if she's in a relationship or not. Or, ask another coworker you trust.
 
For a start, just because she's not busy doesn't mean she's single. Sometimes people do things without their partners.

Honestly, I think if she rejected you once, do you have any real reason to think she didn't mean it?

Urgh my fault, I read it wrong due to his use of tenses.

I read it as 'I ask for her digits and she says she's in a relationship'. Bleh :p

In that case, you might as well ask her, but if she does say she's seeing someone, she probably is. You're not a mind-reader, you can't know that in advance.
 
Do eeeeeet. Worse that happens is she says she's not interested and big deal if she does. If you don't go for it you definitely have no shot, so might as well take it. Start with just some caual convo and see how it goes and take it from there.
