So the other day I saw this kid walking to school normally nothing would be suprising but he was from my neighborhood and i knew him he has a car why would he be walking I didn't get it so I pulled over and asked him where his car was. He said at home?? I asked him why weren't you driving it and why are you walking instead. He just looked straight down and said oh my friends walk to the bus stop and go on the bus from there. I was soooo confused, I told him i'd give him a ride to school he agreed. We talked breifly but he said none of his friends had a car and his car is a two seater. (corvette) so he didn't want to drive it anymore he was ashamed to come from a family with money????? I didn't get it but after some thought I kinda do now..
Funny how people are like this to be who they are and they hide stuff I hide nothing my race my heritage my family my house my son.. nothing i'm going to talk to him tomorrow about it any ideas of how to explain to him a teenager he shouldn't be ashamed? his dad is in the military and his mom is a lawyer so he gets no time with them at all. I go over alot his mom is my brothers sister in law.
