i've been saying this for years as someone who practised martial arts for a long long time,they dont make you invincible but they will give you an advantage.....if a knifes involved chances are you will get cut
 
I heard about this, honestly though Dana White doesn't give a fuck about this guy, he's just trying to endear himself to the people of NY, you don't see Dana doing this shit for people who DON'T live in a state he's trying to get MMA legalized int.

Well, I also haven't heard any other stories of people taking out a knife wielding serial killer with a single leg takedown and then crediting the UFC for it lol.

Well no, but I guarantee that if this had happened in California, Las Vegas, or any other place where MMA is legal and the UFC goes to regularly we probably wouldn't even have heard about it, I'm happy for this dude and he is a hero, but I can also see right through Dana White's agenda.
