Guess what, I cheated, that made me an adulterer by that definition. But my marriage wasn't nullified, I had to go through the divorce process. As far as I'm aware, there is no state that will nullify a marriage based on adultery... fuck, I wish that there was, cause then I wouldn't have had to go through the entire divorce bullshit.
Additionally, is it adultery when all parties involved consent? Nope.
The term is, "rest my case". Though I can see why you might want it to be arrested, given how full of shit it is.

I just don't get the connection? I can't even begin to fathom how a relationship would function healthily being open but I realise I can only think with my own mind, at the end of the day what goes on between consenting adults and works for them is nobody elses concern imo

What laws? Please show me a law stating that adultery nullifies a marriage. It is considered grounds for divorce, but not grounds for annulment. The only grounds I know of for annulment are marriages between relatives, bigamy, and marriages that were coerced or otherwise occurred via force. I'm sure there are other reasons for annulment, but adultery isn't one of them. Otherwise I wouldn't have had to go through my lengthy divorce process.
Humor? Nah. Someone using a common saying incorrectly? Yeah, that's most likely it. It goes along with the whole, "I could care less" thing. If you could care less, then you're implying that you care. While the actual saying is, "I couldn't care less", which implies that you have no level of caring, or you care so little about something that there's no level below it.

Only for judgmental people. The OP asked if you could be in one and what you would do if asked by your lover to be in one, not for people to criticize the idea of open relationships. It works for some people as we've obviously read here. So what the hell is there to debate?
