Northern Goshawk

This isn't as sharp as I would like but it's the first time I've been able to shoot one of these guys. I managed to be able to fire off one shot before he flew away. Matter of fact it's the first time I've seen one. I love the color of it's eyes.

That's the one, it caught my attention and now I can't unsee it! I like it though, especially combined with the bird looking over its shoulder.

I could make it go away.

It doesn't bother me because I'm just so happy I got a shot of the creature.

This is a wild bird I saw on my drive this morning.

Here's a link to a bird ID site I use. It will show you where it hangs out and yes the NW is part of it's turf.
