My Post Count

can anybody explain to me what's so important about the post count in all these forum communities? i see these kinds of threads and all kinds of back-biting about post whoring just about everywhere i go that has this kind of setup.

so dk, congrats, but can you tell me what's so wonderful about the post count?

A significant amount of waffling has gone on and this is marked by further waffle.

I've never waffled myself in such a manner mind you, even though 'significant' waffle moments of say 10k, 20k, 50k may happen and even though I may waffle in a different manner anyway.

That being said, congrats DK on your 9kth waffle! :nod:
 
well that sure told me a whole lot about waffling but i still don't get it. is there some prize for having the most posts? do people with high post counts get laid more than people with low post counts.

still dk, like congratulations but the only thing i really learned from this thread is that my post count went over 1,000 in the past few days and i didn't even notice it. is that going to be good for a few congrats and woo-hoos right here or do i need to start my own thread?

lol there is nothing SIGNIFICANT about this post count, when I realized it was OVER 9000 it was just too funny to pass up, the only SIGNIFICANT post count I've ever had was when I reached 7000 on here, because up until that point I'd always either been banned or left sites before making it that far, after that there are no more "significant" post counts for me lol, I'm just poking fun at all the people who feel the need to make a thread after every 1000 posts.
