I dunno i have never really liked it and this year for a reason most likely due to living alone with my children and a cat i seem to detest it even more...

There are women out there that get pissed they get nothing for valentines day... that kinds makes me wonder too why the hell would you want your man to show you affection only one day of the year?

I'm in the restaurant business. We call it hell night. Just a shitload of amateur diners who know or care jack shit about the food, complain about everything and want everything for free. And don't tip worth a shit. We get our asses kicked for nothing.

Another day I teach my kids that marketing has taken over...

I tell them that Love exist year round and not just one day a year. This is why Birthdays, Christmas, Easter and all other days are about getting back to the basics, while the rest of the year I hand them presents, candy and things that should be taken in moderation all the time..

So Valentines day is just a reminder to us about love.. Nothing more, nothing less with minor acknowledgement..
