Your opinion? how was it? before mp3s we actually had to buy an album or dub it from the radio. Buying a cd wasn't all that bad. Unless you went to Sam Goody. That place was expensive.

I still have old cassettes with songs I recorded off the radio. I like that (and buying CDs) more than the typical "download the song" response I get when I say I want a CD.

And I have friends who spaz if I ignore my phone when I'm with them. There are very few people I will answer calls from while I'm with someone else. Text messages I don't even read.

Since I rarely use my phone cept when I am out.. and I forget to use my iPod.. my life is pretty much the same.. I still have a ton of CD's and I listen to them quite often. Also, lately I have been leaving my phone at home when I go out.. If I am not needed right then and there I don't want to know about it.

Music... I have always loved having a radio on 24/7.

As for cellphones. I use mine for the purpose I have it... and that is to be able to call someone if I need help. I did not get a cellphone to make myself reachable to all and sundry at their whims. Only about 5 people have my mobile number... works for me.

I was 10. It was all about my boombox, Britney Spears and N*Sync CDs and talking on the house phone. That was the life. Now I worry about whether or not I brought my phone with me, etc. Those are stupid, petty things to worry about and I hate that it actually bugs me when I lose my phone.

Tapes!!!! I had a Sony DD walkman, very cool. I mostly bought vinyl, so I'd tape them to listen to on the move - compilations mostly. And friends' mix tapes too.

Ah, those were the days. Life was simple back then.

I'm fairly an old bitch stuck in her ways as far as technology goes; I still play my old tapes and buy CD's.

... In fact, I don't even own an MP3 player, lol. My husband, however, is big into technology, but he's an IT geek, lol. He always makes fun of me and says I was probably Amish in a past life.

Anyway, life was good and didn't improve my way of life that much. I've got a cell phone that I could actually care less if had or not and as far as the computer goes, I suppose it makes work and communication alot easier, but then again, I don't really like emailing people. . .or talking on the phone, lol.

You know I still buy CDs to this day. Then I put them into mp3 myself. They're so cheap these days, why not?

I also occassionally buy mp3s from iTunes, but I find the whole process lacking something. There's something really nice about going to your local music store, browsing the shelves, having a listen and then buy a few discs... then getting them home, unwrapping them and listening to them... and of course giving them a sniff if they're in a cool digipak...

I'd be lost without my phone, I keep everything in that thing. I know that I did without it before....I just don't know how. I like the fact that my daughter is only a text away and she can reach me any time of day or night, no matter where we are...it means peace of mind for me. I have an ipod too, but I only use it when I go to the gym or when I walk or go for a run...before my ipod I had an mp3 player, before that I had a cd walkman, and before that I had an old walkman that took tapes...lol Yabba Dabba Dooooooo....lmbo
