Several weeks ago I had a bad cold. I sneezed so hard I cracked a tooth. Really did not know whether it was the tooth or a filling. Friday the tooth broke off. Called around all the dentists were closed including my normal dentist who is expensive and doesn't follow the guidelines of my insurance company. Just got back from the dentist with all my options. I am leaning toward extraction because all other options are expensive. :willy_nilly:

that's not as badly inflated as i thought it might be. i was steeling for a response around $3500. what's the material? gold crowns were maybe 3 or 400 in the 60's and 70's.

losing it won't impact your smile or chewing food. what it will do is provide a space for bacteria to grow that will begin to decay the surrounding teeth.

Could you get it pulled and get a retainer type thing with a falsie? I don't know if it would be cheaper than a crown, but it sounds less painful than a crown with a post.

you can get at least a fifth of jack for $25, but i'd recommend absinthe over the jack -- wormwood is a better anaesthetic than anything in the jack daniels.

I'm 13 years sober so I dont know about pricing anymore.

My boyfriend had a tooth extracted two weeks ago, they had to dig deep because the roots were into his sinus cavity. Ripping out your own teeth is asking for trouble :eek
