Do you all clean ya kicks, shoes, boots, sneaks, sneakers?

I can't recall if I made this thread or not... Do you clean your footwear if they get mucked up? I just gave my sneakers a scrubbing and sprayed them with water proofer. I've had them for a while and they're white. So they look really nasty when im out in the snow/rain.

throw them in the washer on a low cycle (without the laces) and they should be fine..just a sprig of detergent

I just scrub the scuffs off. I don't really CLEAN them, though. Just try to keep them out of harm's way.

Most of my shoes don't really get dirty, but my running shoes have been known to get pretty grubby...lol..I usually just throw them in the washer......it works for me.

Some shoes rarely get worn, especially over different seasons, so I have to dust them. That's bad.

But yes, I've cleaned my shoes every which way possible. Nanny swears by polishing patent leather with biscuit dough- it works pretty well, actually.

Nope, hell they're still covered in dried caked on mud from when I lived in Oregon :dunno

i got one pair of sport shoes and if get dirty i will clean them.. i don't wear them to often so get very very long time to get dirty so clean a little the outside of the shoes if will get a lot i will wash them

for the rest mostly is dust so not much to do

I clean my footwear every Saturday.

I have so many pairs of heels that I don't tend to clean them regularly. They don't get worn often enough. I have one pair of trainers that are getting a bit fleh after all the bad weather but honestly, I don't go anywhere during the day and I don't wear shoes in the house.

I blame my cleaning of footwear every Saturday on OCD altogether. No matter how hard I seem to try...I have to clean them on that specific day. Oh well...

...one must just go with the flow at times.
