Who the fuck said I eat celery sticks? :24: I hate celery. As a matter of fact my veggie intake the moment only consists of taters, sweet and regular, string beans and zucchini/squash. seeing as i have to limit my greens while I'm on Coumadin. I'm a Nazi because that crap is disgusting? i can't even eat it now if I wanted to without having major toilet time.

I find it funny how people are trying to find so many things to sue fast food places over. I've never once heard TB advertise they use ALL BEEF. I've heard beef, because there are a ton of other additives in there doesn't mean it's not beef. It's still beef with a bunch of other crap tossed in that out weights the beef.

I don't think the lawsuit will go far, but that's just my $.02.

And I'll still chose TB over TJ any day. Now if TB could make potato oles I'd be a very very happy girl. lol

You are SO right. It's not like they are filling the meat with ground up bugs or industrial waste or something, it's OATS for god's sake. As much negative press as the fast-food industry has taken for being responsible for Americans all being fat, you'd think taking some of the fat OUT of the food would be a good thing!

Ironic, to me, that this suit is filed in Alabama - one of the bottom 2 or 3 states with a morbidly obese population and horrible statistics for people dying young from their crap-filled diets. Way to go Alabama, sue Taco Bell because they don't put enough fat and red meat into your already disgusting bodies.

I heard on the radio that the lawsuit doesn't seek any damages. They just want TB to ... hell, I don't know what they want if they don't want money. :p

If ya'll are ever in my neck of the woods, look for Mama Margie's or Taco Cabana. You'll love them so much you'll think Taco Bell is some kind of Mexican phone company.

I remember the first time I had Taco Bell was when we were travelling through Westchester from the city. It was heaven. That was when I was 5 or so.

Ever since, I was constantly wishing they'd build a Taco Bell closer to where I lived, because the closest one was 40 miles away.I only got to eat there a few times a year.

Then that blissful day arrived when I was about 10 or so, when Taco Bell opened its doors in my town. I ate their about once a week for a few years. I would either order three tacos and nachos, the Mexican Pizza, or the quesadilla.

Flash forward many years later, during this summer when they released the Big Box! I've had a few of them since. Epic!

So yea, I have good memories of Taco Bell.

Oh oh, and in Arizona, I ate at a restaurant that was a combined KFC and Taco Bell. Sweet.

You are correct the the lawsuit doesn't ask for any monetary damages, but I can guarantee they are asking for the defendants to pay 100% of the legal fees for the suit, and that this team of high-priced lawyers from one of the South's largest firms is racking up millions and millions and millions in billable hours.

No lawyer on the planet works for free.

FYI when I ate Taco bell I loved it. a few years ago they moved the old KFC from the slums to a busy part of the city and brought in a Taco Bell and it was AWESOME! I used to eat at the one where I went to college back in the day.

Del taco is real food and should go national when taco bell finally goes under

Del Taco WAS national and bigger than Taco Bell. They were owned by Applebees. They were sold off to... guess who... Taco Bell! TB then closed the vast majority of them and sold the rights for the name to a small group of franchisees who kept around the few Del Tacos that are left today.

FWIW, Del Taco was my only fast food job, right out of high school.

I don't think TB will go under. Either the lawsuit will get thrown out, they'll have to be more honest in their advertising, or their shit will be more expensive.

I'm not a big TB patron, but it is nice to get a ton of food for practically nothing.

Interesting either way taco bell is garbage

On a similar note, did anybody else read the article on FoxNews today about how tons of the "real fruit" products we buy have absolutely no fruit in them??? Blueberry muffins w/ absolutely no blueberries in them, whoddathunkit???

I agree w/ Dana...I think it's hilarious people are so pissed about some damn OATS being used as filler. Oh noooooooo...Taco Bell tricked me into eating something healthier than beef!!! DAMN THEM!!! Taco Bell used to be one of my favorite drunk foods...but I haven't eaten there in almost a year now. :(

A new lawsuit claims that Taco Bell's "ground beef" should really be called "taco meat filling." That's because, the suit claims, there just isn't enough meat in the product to meet the USDA standard to call something "ground beef."

thats why they are getting sued. If its true they dont use enough beef then yeah it is false advertising when government standards are not met and the claim they are.

I think its silly but what ever

I only been to taco bell like twice
