In a couple of days they go in and see if I actualy have a brain!

I keep telling them I don't but they insist.

I have a tumor in my inner ear nerve. It's a by product of being a cancer survivor for a long time. In three more years I am considered cancer free. What I am going to go through is a form of a benign metasisis that needs to be removed.

It will involve lazer surgery and radiation. I will never have my hearing restored in my left ear and yet, it is not to the point of total deafness that I can have a hearing aid.

Friday is the surgery day and Thursday is my weenie day that I owe GDW!!!

Well honey! It sounds like the procedure will be fairly un-invasive. How many radiation treatments?

In the short period I'd been here, I've noticed some of your posts. Despite that we don't know each other- imo, it takes a down to earth person with a good heart to hold on to a positive attitude being a cancer survivor. I like that about you . Great outlook in life Tara. I wish you all the best
