Several of you correctly identified the Star Wars quote but didn't specify which one. HK sent me her answers in 6 minutes and was the fastest but Boomerang wasn't far behind at 7 minutes.

Not to be anything but nitpicky, and it doesn't change the outcome of the challenge, but the Star Wars quote was from the orginal Star Wars film. It was simply called "Star Wars." The "New Hope" part was only added years later when they repackaged the whole series.

I assumed that those who answered with just "Star Wars" meant the original one. But since there are 6 Star Wars movies I felt the need to be specific and indicated this in the original challenge. I can't read minds. I can assume I know what someone's intentions are but in this case assumptions can lead to unnecessary messes. :)

Understood, but "Star Wars" IS specific, technically. As many times as I've seen that movie (50?) including the 2nd day of it's release in 1977... I have never once heard the original referred to as anything OTHER than simply Star Wars, until your last challenge. I had to Google it to that it even HAD another name.

What's even weirder is, I think I have a memory of seeing the words mission impossible at some point. So how the hell did I get from that to it being the Princess Bride?

Saving Buttercup was an impossible mission because Westley died but he managed to come back to life and achieved it anyway? :dunno

As for the next challenge, I was wondering if we could arrange a time when everyone left playing can be online? I know two of you are UK but both of you tend to keep odd hours :p so maybe it can work. If not, I'll come up with a different challenge.
 
Haha :) okay well I'm guessing the best time is going to be very late evening for me, since this tends to be early-to-late evening for everyone else? I am cool with that, but it can't be tonight, I'm staying at a friends house. Pretty sure I have no other plans though so Friday night, Saturday or Sunday all work for me.
