It's 6:30 P.M. Eastern right now here where I am. I'm just curious as to what time it is where you are at the same time as mine here.

No matter when you post.... Use 6:30 P.M. Eastern to answer. That way I won't get all confused. :D

..... and I don't mean put 6:30 P.M. as your answer! LOL!

Tell me 'your' time when it's my time at 6:30 P.M. Did I make that clear enough? :)

BUT....Keight...beingt a Queenslander...is one hour behind. 9.58;)

They dont have daylight savings.....actually, I believe they still dont have much light at all.:(

massive clean ups still going on....food shortages, roads still closed...so little or no supplies.

Sorry for the hijack Red, but we havent heard from either Keight or Pete for a few days now.

I heard rumours of bread selling for a 10 dollars a loaf (if you could get it) and cigarettes for $50 a pack:(:mad:thumbdown

No worries about the hijack.

I've seen the areas hit by the floods on the news. Absolutely terrible. What I don't understand or just haven't been listening closely enough is.... WHAT CAUSED THE FLOODING? Did a dam break? Was there an earthquake? Torrential rains?

And those that charge so much during a time like this should be held accountable when it's all said and done.

I remember when the power went out for a few days a few years ago in this area.... along with a few other states. The gas stations were gouging customers and trying to get more than $5 and up per gallon for gasoline! Those stations that had electricity that is. The state here stopped that really quick!

I remember using bottled water to wash my hair and baby wipes to bathe with. We had to drive about 50 or so miles away to a town that wasn't affected by the outages to do some shopping and get loads of ice for our freezers and refrigerators. That was a crazy time to say the least.

Although.... it really gave us a chance to stop and be with family. Nothing like candlelight and discussions in the early evenings. :)

Of course I don't. I just meant that if anyone else posts in your time zone.... I'm not gonna start counting them. You know... and say... Hey! That makes 8 of you in that time zone.
