Getting tired of the club scene...

Why in the hell would i hang with people significantly younger than me? Unless they were fam.. College is not my forte. You do not need school to expand your mind.
why do you downplay education so much? how else do you think you are going to get ahead in this world? significantly younger than you? :eek:eek:eek:eek dude, really? (there are people older than I going back to school) you are content to accept life the way it is?

The response made me :24: his I should say, not yours.

I went back to school for Massage hours here in Ohio at 23, some people taking the course were in their 40's.

You said hang out with people younger than me... I know there are people my age and older still going to college. If I were going to go to school why the fuck would I want to hang around those say who are 8-10 years younger than me? I don't see your logic. I believe I've stated a few times my beefs with college.

because the men and women who go to college now are just that age and they need the guidence of those who have been through the trenches of life. you don't think these young women and men are not scared about going into the workforce after they graduate? you bet they are! any chance I can share something with them they may seem like they are not paying attention, but they are....my niece is going through the same crap when I was her age and if someone told me at that age what I was feeling it would have made things a hell of a lot better than they are now...so don't tell me that teaching/sharing with the younger generation doesn't help...

That's what the parents, professors, and therapists on campus are for PJ, not older students.

I didn't help any of the younger people in college, unless we were grouped together for a project. I was there for my career. No offence, I didn't care if they graduated let alone pass state board.

U should be a frigging recruitment officer ffs.... though u haven't recruited me so maybe thats not the best field after all.

Taking a quick course could be cool, not saying get a degree in anything but you might enjoy taking some cooking classes? Learn guitar? Something like that?

Social gathering of intellect, with no pressure for grades, just learning something new :)

Cooking yes... guitar not a chance in hell. i'd get frustrated and bitch... I don't have the coordination to play a musical instrument. Literally... But there aren't any schools around here offering cooking courses.

I was just throwing out examples.

Doesn't have to be a school Dana. Can ask restaurants, look in papers, sometimes they offer cooking classes. You need to buy the ingredients generally.

I once convinced a friend of mine to go back to school and she took an art class that she loved......it got her foot in the door and she eventually took some sort of civil servant class and is now sittin' pretty at the desk of her new government job...lol...baby steps doll.
