Mod note : I moved this into it's own thread, I figured religion and football could make for a good discussion.

I'm still surprised he made it to this stage...oh wait, there have been a few postponements, no wonder why :24:

Who would you bring in then after Roy is sacked? And be realistic, something I know Liverpool fans have trouble with. :p
The only feasible option available I believe is Martin O'Neil, and he's a catholic so Liverpool isn't such an unlikely destination.

There are lots of Catholics in Liverpool and they are always associated with Celtic, thanks to a certain Mr Dalglish

Re: Premier League season 2010/11

He was actually a Rangers fan but nevermind. Actually funny story.

His signing, on a provisional contract in May 1967, was not without amusement. Jock Stein, the legendary Celtic manager, sent his assistant Sean Fallon to see Dalglish and his parents at their home. Hearing that Fallon was at the door, Dalglish raced to his bedroom and frantically tore down the Rangers posters on his bedroom walls
This said I hate religion being a part of football in the way it is, moreso in Scotland.

I don't like anything that shouldn't have to do with politics, that includes politics aka Nigeria
